Kim Heydie DeMattos

I’m saddened and heartbroken by the sudden passing of my dear friend, Kim. I will surely miss our friendship, deep conversations and especially celebrating our birthdays together each November. Rest in peace my friend. My sincere condolences to Basil and her family. You were her joy and blessings.

I am really saddened by the sudden passing of Kim. I have known Kim for many years as we worked together in various organizations and were close friends until we moved on geographically and corporately. We re-connected via Facebook and were able to share posts and messages to stay in touch. My heart goes out to Basil, their children and the extended family. She certainly lived her life well and will be remembered for the kind person that she was. May her soul rest in peace.

Natasha - I am sorry you have lost your mother - it's an expressly painful loss for anyone to lose the one with whom we have bonded with, depended on and looked up to all our lives - truly from our very beginnings and it sounds like your mother was one who all depended upon. I understand her diagnosis was very recent so her departure is even more painful. I hope that during her brief illness you had plenty of time to revisit fond memories, laugh about experiences and lessons learned, heal old wounds, if there were any, and tell each other how much you loved each other. My deepest sympathies to you, your husband and children and your extended family.

I was so shocked to see that Kim had passed. She was such a great lady and although I have not seen her in a long time, she and her family were always so welcoming. My sincere condolences to Basil, Natasha, Joshua and Tita and Trevor and family.

My deepest condolences go out to Kim's cherished family. As her childhood friend, I can say that Kim's genuine and loving personality never changed throughout her life. I was deeply saddened to hear of Kim's passing. She was an exceptional lady. I worked with her for a very long time, although not directly in her area of the business - yet we had frequent interractions where I will remember her as a positive, upbeat and generous woman - giving her time to create great expereinces for those around her. Our sincere condolences to the DeMattos family. We met Kim and Basil when our sons played baseball together. We would reconnect periodically at a chance meeting at the grocery store over the years. It was always so obvious how proud she was of her family and how much she loved them.
