Rest in peace Val you were like a mom to me now you are up with frenchy and your sisters
I’m deeply sorry to hear of Val’s passing. I remember her as a kid—her wonderful smile, infectious laugh, and great sense of humor. She had a way of filling the room with her beautiful energy, which I’m sure continues to live on. I trust she is at peace now. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. Much love, Naomi
I wish I could be with you to celebrate Valerie’s life. From the time she was a little girl Valerie always had a lot of grit and determination. Like her mother Muriel she kept an immaculate home. When she worked for the post office I remember going on one of her mail deliveries and seeing her carrying her heavy mailbag without complaint. Because of the distance, I didn’t have the opportunity to see her very often. However we talked on the phone. During these conversations she didn’t dwell on her constant pain but instead spoke lovingly about her family and how much she adored her precious grandchildren. Love from Uncle Art and Aunt Judy

My dear friend you are at peace now and with your love ❤️. I am grateful to have known and loved you . Smile down along us all .
My Deepest Condolences to Valerie's Family & Friends share the fond memories she will always be with you & watching over you.
My deepest condolences to Val's family and friends. Val knew this but I feel I'd like to address this to her. "You are so loved and will be so terribly missed by those who love you. You were one in a million Val, and there will never be a sweeter, kinder soul than you. You were so precious to our family. Even though we grew up together as kids, it is never ever long enough. My heart is broken at losing you. I feel your spirit close to me and always will. You had to endure so much pain and loss over the last few years even aside from your health issues. I hope the love and support from your family and good friends eased some of it. I loved our visits around your table and in your yard sharing memories and laughs together with you and Dianne. And our many phone chats, always ending with your "Love ya cuz". I can't believe you have sadly left us but I hope you are now in peace and joy with your many loved ones. Thank you too, Val, for organizing our many Lee Family picnics every summer at Cobourg beach which was restarted from our parents, so we could continue the tradition and all get together. You always went very early in the morning to save picnic tables for us in "our spot". That was you! You loved your family. Until we meet again my dear cousin, fly free among the angels. Thank you for everything. I will love and miss you forever. Love ya cuz, Donna xoxo
We are saddened to hear that Val passed away. She was such a kind and generous person. We’ll always remember her sending Silas mail. He was so excited to receive a card or package with his own name on. It was so thoughtful of Val to think of Silas. We enjoyed corresponding via mail. She always put a smile on our faces. We’ll miss our cousin Val very much. Sending love.
My condolences to the Holly and the family

To Valerie’s family, I send my deepest condolences. Valerie has been an important part of my life since the day she was born in Camp Shilo, Manitoba. Valerie was the one who made sure our “Lee Family” annual picnics carried on. She thought it important that our families stay connected. She would arrive at Victoria Park at 6:00 am to hold a table at our favourite shady spot. It gave her joy to do this. We visited Val many times in Colborne. Dianne joined us and we had a great times sitting around Valerie’s table discussing world events, reminiscing, eating and drinking pots of tea. I’ll miss those times very much but I have those precious memories and they’ll never be forgotten. Valerie cherished her Auntie Judy and Uncle Art Hoffer who live in Calgary, Alberta. They were very important to her. “Thank you my sweet Valerie, you’ll always be in my heart. I love you and I miss you. May God be with you and may you Rest In Peace. Your loving Auntie Helen”
I am saddened to see this notice of Valerie’s passing. I have been your Mother’s meals on wheels delivery person the last few years, and in that time we often had little chats. I found that despite the fact that she had many health issues, Val always had a sweet, warm way about her. I’m sure that those of you who are her family and close friends know exactly what I’m talking about. My deepest sympathies to you all in the loss of dear Valerie.
