Janice, thank you for your kind words for Eileen. I’m Eileen’s daughter in law. The week before she was asking after Edith. They were great friends. It was a comfort to know that they were together now. Many families members knew your mom. She was a special person and will be missed. Our condolences.
Dear Family, Edith will be remembered with fondness by her Trinity church family. Please remember that she is now at home with her Lord and enjoying the love of God in His Kingdom. 🙏 2 Corinthians 5 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Corinthians%205&version=KJV

We are saddened to hear of Edith's passing. Edith was a wonderful woman and we are grateful for her 5 years of volunteerism with the Northumberland Hills Hospital Auxiliary from 2007-2012. On behalf of the NHH staff, volunteer team and NHH Auxiliary board we send our condolences to Edith's loved ones.
Janice and David, sorry to hear about your Mom. It takes us back to our time in Stoney Creek and visiting your parents, throwing a ball in your back yard and going out for an evening and hearing someone ask your father if he was Gordie Howe. And especially hearing your Mom sing when she visited in NB. I can still see Mom (Dorothy) and Edith sitting on our chesterfield.
I’m sending my thought and prayers to Edith’s family from the Turk family. She was a great neighbour of Dorothy and Clifton Turk at Shelter Valley
My condolences to Dorothy's family...I had the chance to meet and help care for this lovely lady when she lived at Legion Village. Such a beautiful soul RIP Dorothy

David and family. Ken and I were lucky to meet and befriend your mom at the trailer park. She was a lovely woman and will be missed. Hugs sent to you.
I had the privilege of singing with Edith in the Trinity church choir and visited her at Legion Village when she was no longer able to attend church. She was always upbeat and interested in what was going on around her. My sincere sympathy to all her family. Barb Swallow
