Robert Harold Wilson

July 24, 1950 - December 27, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert “Bob” Harold Wilson announce his sudden but peaceful passing on Friday, December 27th, 2024 at the age of 74.

Beloved husband of Susan, married 52 years. Loving father of Allison (Douglas) Sunday and Melissa Wilson (Troy Macausland). Proud Papa to Jaslyne, Kayleigh, Kayla, Emma, Ellyssa, John and Hayden.
Much loved brother to Lynda (James) Polley. Uncle to Glenn, Julie, Michael and Brian.
Son of the late Kathleen and Harold Wilson of Shrewsbury, England.

Bob loved his family. He was genuinely interested in and encouraged others. Always willing to lend an ear for a chat, a good laugh and lend a helping hand where he could. Professionally, he took his responsibilities very seriously and served with integrity. Bob will be forever loved and fondly remembered by his family, friends and neighbours.

A celebration of life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 133, located at 135B Orr St. in Cobourg on Friday, January 10th from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Met Robert probably not long after he arrived here. They moved onto Sinclair St. He was part of the local crew for a bit, although I don't think his mom liked us much. He was quite a wrestler. So young to be gone. My condolences to all the family.
