Richard Eric "Rick" Campbell

It is with heavy hearts the family of Rick Campbell announce his unexpected passing at his home Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the age of 76. Rick is the loved dad to Kimberly (Rob Logan) Campbell, Melissa Campbell and Ann Bannon. Cherished grandfather to Adrian Campbell, Ashley Campbell, Dylan Campbell, Kaitlyn Campbell, Lindsay Campbell, Brandon Mallory, Hayden Jesseau, Sarah (Josh) Smith, and Matthew Campbell-Smith as well as his many great-grandchildren. Rick will be deeply missed by his siblings Steve (Lois) Campbell and family, Susie (Edward) Hall and family and Jennifer (Gary) Brewster and family. He was greatly loved by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rick was an avid gardener, he loved planting flowers and watching things grow in his vegetable garden. This hobby came so natural to him that he even planted a lemon tree from seed and it’s now over 3ft tall. Other hobbies included, coin & stamp collecting, woodworking, he was an avid animal lover, his pride and joy, was his Chihuahua “Princess” and he also loved and cared for his “babies” 3- Ferrets named, Winnie, Kujo & Binx. Rick also had a bird (cockatiel) Ricky-o whom he took care of daily. Rick was a loving & caring person who always put others first before himself.
He was proud, thoughtful and private in his affairs. He was an exceptional father and raised 3 girls on his own. Rick will be immensely missed yet never forgotten! Loved by all who knew him, he was a Hero to his 3 daughters whom cherished their time with him. “We Love & Miss You with all our hearts!!”

As per Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
