Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, Ella MacDougall (nee Cummings) at 92 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Beckstead and the late Kenneth MacDougall. Loving mother of Grant Beckstead (Rosemary), Bonnie McLellan (Ted), and Janet Sunday (Rick). Cherished grandmother of Robert (Tiffany), Ashley (Billy), David (Chelsea), Richard Glenn, Richard Angelo (Bridgette), Jonathon (Ashley), Elizabeth (Rambo), Dylan, Laurie (Quentin), Amanda, Eric, and great grandmother of Jaxson, Wyatt, Elijah, Finnian, Alex, Gordon. Predeceased by her brother Fred. Also missed by her nephews Bruce, Gerald, Wayne, Allan, and her great nieces and great nephews and many cherished friends. Visitation to be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Saturday, October 26th from 7 to 9 pm and again on Sunday, October 27th from 12 noon until 2 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, in Cobourg on Sunday, October 27th at 2pm. Cremation to follow. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer’s Society.
