Ostapiak Family, I am soo sorry to hear this! My condolences to you all for the huge loss to your family. He loved everyone of you deeply. Terry was always smiling, always laughing and forever kind. My condolences for Terry’s whole family as you learn to live without him. Terry was such a loving neighbour and always had time to connect. His bright smile, his genuine way of saying “God bless you” in a way that you knew he really meant it and his care for others will always be remembered by me and so many others who knew him. God bless you, Terry.
Terry is beloved to many in the downtown Cobourg community. He genuinely wanted the best for this town and every single person in it; and was the embodiment of a man who would give someone the shirt off his back. He loved his family deeply and spoke of them often. He was a thoughtful guy with an appreciation for the beautiful things in life, and I will miss him.
To the entire Ostipiak Family, Terry was a very special man. He was a great conversationalist and a friend to all. He was a very polite man and always had time for others. He was one of the most thankful and appreciative men I have ever met. He spoke about his son, Roman, often. I will never forget his huge smile and kind heart. We're all going to miss you, Taras. Thanks for the memories. Taras "Terry" Ostapiak September 7, 1965 - September 24, 2024 ~ REST IN PEACE ~

Terry was a big hearted, kind & gentle, man who was loved by all who knew him. My condolences to all his family, especially his son Roman & Sister Tina. Gone too soon but now in Heaven for eternity. He will be greatly missed.
Terry was the kindest man, we met at the beer store in Cobourg, he often came in with his empties and would chat, he would clean up out back and bring us in gifts, everyone is right he would of given anyone the shirt off his back, very kind soul, he will be greatly missed by us all at the beer store!!!!! Thinking of the family at this time :(
Terry was the best Father I could ask for, he would do anything for anyone. Loved everyone to the fullest and would give his last $5 to someone who needed it, he would give the shirt off his back to a stranger. I’m happy your pain and suffering is gone and you are no with Jesus. He lived to serve others, he loved his neighbour and put others first. Everything Jesus taught. Thank you for everything you did for me Dad, thank you for all the memories and I will see you in heaven.
Your dad talked of you often, wanting nothing more than to go out west and visit you, he missed you terribly. Teras was a kind, sweet gentle soul who I met when he would come into No Frills and became good friends. Please know that he will be greatly missed.
