It is with heavy hearts the family of Veselin “Vince” Markovski announce his passing at the Northumberland Hospital on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the age of 82. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Alta Markovski. Together, they shared 57 years of beautiful partnership. Growing up together they met and fell in love. Together they raised their family. Vince is the loved father to Sasho Markovski and Tina Markovski. He is the immensely proud “Dedo” to his grandson Maksim Markovski. Cherished brother-in-law to Bozana Veljanova and uncle to Mara Markovski. The family would like to extend their thanks to all the nurses and staff on the Cancer ward at Northumberland Hills Hospital as well as Dr. Mule. Your care, compassion and kindness will never be forgotten. A visitation will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King Street East, Cobourg, ON Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 11:00Am – 12:00 Pm with a service at 12:00 Pm. Following the service, burial will take place at Cobourg Union Cemetery, Cobourg, On. Friends and family will then be welcomed back the MacCoubrey Funeral Home – Reception Lounge. If desired, donations in memory of Vince may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Alta I am so sorry to hear of Vince's passing. He was such a wonderful person. I have many wonderful memories of the years we worked together at Columbus McKinnon. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
