It's hard to believe that my Auntie Linda is gone. She was so strong and fought hard through many illnesses. She was a great listener and always so supportive of me. I have so many happy memories of my Auntie Linda. I remember baking banana bread with her in her apartment. We shared a love of reading and we would swap book recommendations. I’ll miss our chats on the phone. She was a special lady and I was lucky to have her as an aunt. Rest in peace Auntie Linda. So many times I looked after Linda in the old hospital and then with her eyeglasses after my career change. She was a fighter and suffered so much in her short life but always had a smile. I am sorry for the loss you are experiencing but now her days are pain free and beautiful...my condolences.

Just a few words here. Brenda and I met because I worked with one of Linda's pen-friends (yes that old technology) in England. Family is very important to Brenda and she shared her worries about her big sister almost immediately, and of course we have shared Linda's challenges across the almost forty years since. Linda is now at peace and I can only look gratefully at our family that she helped form. Deepest sympathies to Gordon, Barbara, Deb and Wendi.
