Bernice Grimshaw passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leslie. Loving mother of daughters Norinne Hall (Larry) of Kingston, and Pam Piercey (Brian) of Lindsay. Stepmom to Jim (deceased), Don (Judy) of Port Hope, and Dave (Marg) of Bobcaygeon. Very proud and loving Gramma to 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Greatly missed by her puppy, Nayla.
A private service has been held at St. Peter’s Heritage Cemetery, Cobourg, where she re-joined her loving husband, Les. Together again, may they rest in peace.
The family would like to express its sincere gratitude to the staff of the Extendicare Lakeland Village Retirement Home in Lindsay, and to the doctors and nurses at Ross Memorial Hospital. Their attentive and compassionate care has been excellent.
If desired, donations in Bernice’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.

May Bernice rest in eternal happiness with her beloved husband, Les. I have many fond memories of Les and Bernice. They were neighbors of my in-laws, Bill and Helen Scott. Good neighbors always mingle and before you knew, we were always exchanging pleasantries. Great people, inside and out. God rest both of their souls.
