We sadly announce the peaceful passing of Isabel Breeze on July 15th, 2024, after a brief illness.
Isabel (nee Ellis) came to Canada from Penicuik, Scotland as a young woman. She met and married Jack Breeze and they enjoyed 51 years of marriage, until his passing in 2010.
Cherished Mom to John (Mary) of Cobourg and David (Sandra) of Toronto. Beloved and proud Grandma to Jaclyn and Great Grandma (GiGi ) to Brynne.
Predeceased by her most loved sister and best friend, Anne. Isabel will be dearly missed by her brother, William, nephew Andrew, nieces Julie (Brian),of Penicuik, Scotland, and Isabel (Pat) of Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Fondly remembered by great nieces Nicole and Aimee of Penicuik, Scotland and great nephew Callum of Northern Ireland.
Isabel moved to Cobourg from Toronto in 2021, to make her new home with John and Mary. The family was fortunate to become patients to Dr. Ali of Port Hope. Isabel was quite happy to learn that Dr. Ali worked as a paramedic near her home town in Scotland and a bond was formed! We are truly grateful for the kindness and care provided by Dr Ali and his team.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Northumberland Hills Hospital (especially Dr. Everdell, Nurses Katie and Courtney, PSW’s Claudette and Cori), who took such wonderful care of Isabel in her final days.
A private family service and interment is to be held at Westminster Cemetery in Toronto.
Mom, Grandma, GiGi, Shnookie, HRH, we love you and will miss you every day.
My sincerest condolences to Isabel's family. It was a pleasure to have met her, and an absolute joy to get to know her. Cori
While I never got to meet her, I heard all about your mum from my late friend Doreen. As a fellow Penicuik lass, I had hoped to make her acquaintance. So very sorry for your loss
I shall always have my special memories of a special lady. Rest soundly Auntie Isabel. Even though I can't be there with you all at this sad time, I am thinking of you all and sending love.
My sincere condolences to you all. While I never got to meet Isabel, I feel like I knew her. And, I know by the great care and love John and Mary gave her that she was a cherished soul. May she rest in peace.
So sorry to hear about your loss. Thinking of you during this very difficult time
I’m not easily moved to great emotion. But I did shed a few tears when I was told she had passed. I loved her quiet all knowing twinkle in her eyes. We hit it off from the start and always had some laughs. I surely respected her for her heart, her mind and her soul. I’ve sold countless homes over the past 40 years and Isabell as I’ve said many times was my favourite client who became a special friend. Sure gonna miss you.
"How lucky we are to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard".... Thinking of you Mary, John, Jaclyn & Brynne. A mother is a very special gift.
I send my sincere condolences. The Bible promises that your loved one will come to life again on a beautiful paradise earth when death will be no more in John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4.
We are so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed. Hugs from Paul and Charlene
Sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Deepest condolences from John’s Friday golf buddies
