Our Mom passed away peacefully at Streamway Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the age of 99. Wife of 67 years to the late Sydney Roberts. Loving mother of the late Bob Roberts (Lorraine), the late Shirley Rowden (Wayne), Sharon Roberts, Bev Ablett (Tom), Elaine Roberts, Bernice Roberts, Ken Roberts, Patricia Tidd (Andy), Darlene Lammers (John), Jan Wakely (Jeff), Dorothy Roberts, Brenda Kloostra (Jim)
Dear Grandmother of 22 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great Great Grandchildren.
Mom was predeceased by her 9 siblings.
Mom dedicated her life to raising her 12 children and enjoyed visits from her grandchildren. Her heart was in her home and most of her time was spent in the kitchen baking goods to welcome family members who would stop by. The family will cherish the memories of an amazing mother & grandmother who was the heart of the home. Special thanks to the staff at Streamway Villa for their loving care.
A private family graveside service will be held.

To all of the Roberts's many share in the loss of your beautiful Mom. I had the pleasure of working with Alice at Bake-n-Serve and then later with your parents as they delivered a rural route out of Cobourg Post office. The best was when l delivered her mail and was able to have chats to catch up and then catch up on her through Dar. at the glass shop.Rest well, Alice, your have left a wonderful legacy.

So very sorry to hear of Aunt Alice passing. I remember her attending my Mom's (Marion) 80th. B-Day and she arrived with a container full of fresh baked cookies! She sure could bake! I also remember her being so soft spoken. She was a lovely woman and the picture you have chosen is beautiful! Your families will have so many treasured memories of her 99 years! It was such an honour to know your mom. Spent a lot of time as a teen at the family home. So many fond memories and the utmost Respect for a mom who raised 12 children with such modesty and grace.
Such a pleasant and kind person. I remember her smile’s delivery mail to us. She left clones of herself in her daughters. Rest in piece Mrs Robert’s.

Alice was a lovely cheerful lady. She was a good neighbour, and when my brother and she met up at Streamway the memories were abundant. Cherish the great memories.

I remember coming to your home in Cold Springs and Grafton and was always greeted with a warm welcome. We are so fortunate to have had our Moms in our lives for this length of time and make wonderful memories that we will hold dearly in our hearts forever. I have had the extreme pleasure of knowing Mrs. Roberts. She was a woman full of wit and charm. I also know all 12 children she raised and each and everyone of them have a quality in them of both their parents. I have never had a dull moment spending time with the family. You are all so blessed to have such wonderful parents and memories. Remember always the good times as you walk forward, take time cherishing each other as we all walk each other home.
