My sincerest condolences, words of comfort and prayers are extended to Lorene and family. Still unable to download COTH services of last Sunday I came across the notice. I spent an hour every day of Ann's life at Streamway and I know the good care Gordon had. I respected him as a Christian gentleman and would look for the back of his head online. His constant walk with the Lord was an encouragement to me. Although Americans celebrated the day of his birth with a holiday there is a lot of shouting going on in heaven when Gordon arrived home.
So sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing. He was always very family oriented and I have fond memories of Gordon sharing family memories and stories. My sincere condolences to you all. ❤️

Janice, Murray and Joyce, I have very fond memories of you from my childhood in Warkworth. Gordon and Eileen used to often take me back to your farm on a Sunday to play with you. And I spent a lot of time at the Yules' playing with Helen. My thoughts are with you this week. I well remember your mom's death and funeral and how heartbreaking it was. Bless your hearts, you and your big big family. Lorena

Sincere condolences to Lorene, faithful wife and care-giver of Mr Gordon Pratt for so many years, with whom I volunteered at Mission Thrift for several years. My condolences and God's comfort also to each of the family members grieving at this time. May Mr Pratt's Godly legacy be blessed as well as that of his parents, Herbie and Jessie Pratt, who used to stand and give their testimony nearly every Sunday night at the Cobourg Alliance Church when it was on William St, with Rev Lloyd & Eva Leadbeater. They would often end with a quiver in their voices saying, 'I just love the Lord.' Beautiful people of faith. Prayers for you all at this time. GOD bless.
Condolences to the family. I remember attending church with Gordon, Lorene, Mark and Brenda for years. Gordon lived a good long life here but eternity will be much sweeter.
So sorry to hear about your loss our prayers are with you all xoxo

Joyce, Mark & family, so sorry to hear of your dads passing, you’re in our thoughts.
Sincere condolences to Lorene, Janice, Joyce, Mark and Brenda and their families. From my earliest recollections our family were close farming neighbours of the Pratt's in Burnley. I recall Gordon and his parents Herbie and Jessie as well. Gordon and I shared the same July 4th birthdate, I being 19 years younger. During haying season we shared at least one birthday cake. Gordon married Eileen around this time. My next stand out recollection was Gordon being diagnosed with Polio (very scary back in the day, (prior to vaccinations for Polio) Our family prayed for his safe recovery. Later on we prayed for Eileen when she was diagnosed with Cancer, also very worrisome with so little known in terms of treatment 60 years ago. One evening each winter Gordon and Eileen would come with their ice cream maker. Ice was chopped and cream skimmed from the top of milk was collected for the making. Gordon and Dad would take turns churning till our treat was ready to be served. Both of our families subsequently left farming days behind and moved to Cobourg. I cherish memories of these salt of the earth neighbours. I am confident Gordon received a warm welcome to his heavenly home.
