Peacefully, surrounded in the love of family, Paul Jacob Knap passed at the Northumberland Hills Hospital June 11, 2024 at the age of 86. Loved and cherished husband to Sharon Knap. Adored son to the late Klaas Knap and the late Frieda Schwarz. Cherished father to Roger Knap, Richard Knap (the late Carey) Paulina Knap-Lamontagne (Alain) and the late Louise Callaghan. Loved step-father to Donna Lee. Grandfather of Michael (Amanda), Trenton, Erika and Antony.
Paul will be missed by Coby Bradford, who he was thankful to have shared his children and family with. He is the dear brother to Cornelis Knap (Gina), Hans Knap (Nancy), Engeline Bouman, Johanna Raggers (the late Hendrik) and the late Anna Marie Torrieri (the late Guido). Brother-in-law to Ron Parks (Betty). Paul will be greatly missed by his many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all those at the Tower of Port Hope, as well as the Northumberland Hills Hospital.
Celebration of Life Services for Paul will be Saturday, July 6, 2024 at MacCoubrey Funeral Home - Reception Centre from 1:00 - 4:00PM. Donations may be made to Autism Canada.

Paulina, I am sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. He was a gentle man and a gentleman, who was supportive of your education in Gummow days, and very proud of you.
