My sincere condolence to Peter and his family. To all her lovely friends. I only just met Diane near the end of her life but we quickly made a connection. Due to her kindness and wit. We had a few laughs. She was a great and loving person and very selfless. You knew that right away. I know she so wanted to be with her husband and they are once again hand in hand. My heart goes out to you Peter to carry on the family with pride and joy like Diane & Ed always did.

We are saddened to hear of Diane's passing. We have had some good times together . Diane and I joined Beta Sigma Phi Sorority on the same date, 56 years ago. She will be missed. We are very sad to learn of Diane's passing. She was Chair of NHH's Board when we moved here in 1998 and instrumental in forming the "group of 10" which drove support for building our new hospital, which then cost $75 million, rather than the $15 million addition to the previous Cobourg hospital initially approved by the Ministry. and which was originally built in 1914. Don's long term involvement was inspired by Diane's leadership.

I volunteer at Ed’s House and was honoured to have had some visits with her while she was there your parents were a blessing to this community.

Diane was a wonderful mentor, employer and friend. I will miss her a lot. She has been a big part of my life for many years. During one of our last visits she said “I don’t want anyone to be sad when I’m gone”. When I told her I would be sad, in true Diane form she quickly said “snap out of it….think about all the good times and laughs we shared”. I’m trying to do that but sorry Diane, I’m still sad. Fly high. You are now back with Ed where your heart has always been. 😘
