It is with heavy hearts the family of Beryl May Bridge announces her passing Wednesday, June 5th, 2024. Beryl passed peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital surrounded in love at the age of 92. It brings peace to her family knowing that she lived an extraordinarily beautiful and well lived life. Awaiting her at Heaven’s gate with open arms will be her beloved husband Peter Bridge who passed in 2019. She was the very proud Mum of Peter (Michelle) Bridge and Kathleen (Robert) Ugolini. Adored Nanna to Malia (Franz) Vousden and great Nanna to Janiya, Dashay and Zylah. Beryl is pre-deceased by her parents Thomas and Kathleen Foster as well as her many siblings. Beryl was a kind and loving Mum who cherished her family. While hearts ache at the loss of such a monumental figure to this family it is known that she is at peace and she is going home. The family would like to extend their thanks to all of Mum's caregivers for all of your care and compassion. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at St. Mary’s Church – Grafton, ON at 11:00AM followed by a reception to follow immediately at the school gymnasium. A family burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a cheque donation to St. Mary’s Grafton Church or to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.

My sympathies to Peter and Kathy and their families. Beryl and her family were good neighbours on Bayview Cr for many years and my children were their children’s friends. Peter (son) and my son, Gregory, are still best buddies. I know Beryl will be greatly missed

Beryl gave heaven a home here on earth. She was well-grounded in her faith, fully alive, humorous, patient and always, always consistent. Paradoxically, someone who was so at home in this world can also be easily translated into heaven as was her greatest, singular desire. Her heart covered the waterfront and she is now a landing zone for fellow souls looking for a home. Rest in peace and rise in glory, Beryl!
