Our most sincere condolences to the family and friends of the remarkable Phil Mabey. Dave and I were among the many who were lucky to have spent time with Phil during our Dragon Boating years. In fact, Phil and I were part of the very first community team, the Wave Runners and occupied seat number 10 together for the first 10 years. We would laugh at trying to squeeze into that 24" space and swore that we had to be surgically separated by the end of each season. So many laughs and great times that we shared will always be dear to my heart. We are certainly blessed to have had Phil in our lives. Paddles UP!! - Dave Burnham and Carol Currelly-Burnham

To members of Phil’s family. Phil was a long time member of the Pine Ridge Hiking Club. He was active with the club, taking on hikes of 10, 12 and 16 km right into his mid eighties.
