Earl was such a great guy. Always smiling, welcoming and happy. My husband and I tried to look for Earl after his retirement so that we could visit him. I am sorry that we didn't get the chance. We enjoyed his company and the woodworking that he did for us. God Bless Rest in Peace, Earl

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Earl. I will always remember him as a strong and kind man, always helpful. He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. Brian and Linda Shaver.
The first time I met Earl was the late eighties, a contractor coming in to home hardware, we formed a friendship that wasnt broken over the years. The kindest, most genuine man that I had the absolute pleasure of knowing. May your next journey Earl be as beautiful today as the first with your family! Condolences to all the family and espessially to Danielle.
Dear Cryderman family, Although I did not know Earl personally, I followed his travels with Danielle Kennedy during his later years. From reading his obituary and the comments, I learned a lot about this gentleman's jovial outlook, terrific memory, and wonderful carpentry skills. What a life well-lived! He brought so much joy to so many people throughout the years. He will be sorely missed. Earl Charles Cryderman December 2, 1924 - May 27, 2024 ~ REST IN PEACE ~

What do you say about a man like Earl Cryderman? He was one-of-a-kind who brightened up every room he entered. He was so fun to be around and his jovial, upbeat manner was contagious. His knowledge, his stories and his memories were enriching to all. My condolences to the Shaver and Cryderman families. The world has lost a "good one". RIP Earl.
Sending condolences to Earls family. He will be sincerely missed. David and Ruth
The greatest grandfather anyone could ever ask for. Pa was a consistent inspiration and someone I endlessly looked up to. He was a great role model and someone I always strived to be similar to. Pa demonstrated the importance of being kind to everyone and made the best out of every situation. The ideal grandparent.

The Crydermans were a big part of my life. Earl and Gloria were good friends of my parents years ago. Many nights of playing cards and going to dances. I was also good friends with Sharron when we were young. I spent a lot of time at her house and had many sleep overs there. Earl and Gloria were wonderful. They were so welcoming and fun. Earl was always joking and kept us laughing. He was a kind person and he will be missed. Please accept my condolences to Earl’s family. Dorothy (Young) Way

His life embodied absolutely everything that was Good, Honest and Precious in this world. My deepest condolences to his lovely family.
Earl was a great man and he did a lot of work for and with my father back in the day. I still remember listening to his stories and watching how he would do things. The old school way, missed having him around when he retired. Him and Gord, were quite the pair. Condolences to his family from the De Palma family.

I am thankful to have known Earl, we were doing a house in Castlehill in the 90s and the owners had Earl lay and finish the hardwood. When he arrived at the job I would ask did you bring coffee, every time he responded all the coffee shops are closed in Cobourg, just a great guy

This world is a better place because of the kindness of this gentle and fun-loving soul. How lucky we have been to have had him touch our lives and to grow up in the safe and comforting arms of the Cobourg Lumber Family. Uncle Earl has always been a huge part of our journey and even in the last few years, someone who I turned to when construction consultation was needed. From roofing to an addition on my Chapel Street home, he was my "go-to" person. My sincere condolences to his entire family, Aunt Nellie, Valerie, Rena and Danielle who did such a wonderful job of watching over him. Carol Currelly-Burnham, Seana & Mhairi Carr

So sorry to hear of Uncle Earl's passing. He and Aunt Gloria were two of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met. With deepest sympathy. Chad Shaver and family
In the mid 1960's, I was fortunate enough to work with both Gord Facey and Earl "Doc" Cryderman at Cobourg Lumber for summer jobs two years in a row in the mid 1960's. The guidance, friendship, and wisdom I received from both of these gentlemen is so very appreciated by me now and always will be. They were so very kind and understanding of a young and troubled teen. They helped me so much. I will never forget their mentoring and friendship.
To my former co-worker Gale..(Bake-n-Serve) ...and your family l extend sincere sympathy for the loss of this wonderful man. My further career of mail delivery brought me in contact with your Dad in St. Peter's Court where we teased one another over who would pick the first tomato from his little vegetable garden and since my retirement l was very fortunate to come upon your father out doing the laps with Doreen and Gordon and there was always a cheerful exchange. Bless you all, anyone who knew your Dad is remembering him with you, in love, and probably a funny story.

My sincere condolences to Earl's family and friends. I have known Earl since I was a little girl living next door to him, Gloria, and their daughters - I have so many happy memories from those days. Earl built beautiful storage cupboards with a desk for my bedroom as a kid that were still in the home when we sold it, 51 years later. He was such a kind man and I'm glad that I was able to reconnect with him recently and chat about the old days - what a great memory he had. He is now with his beloved Gloria. Rest in peace dear friend.
My sincere condolences to Earl's entire extended family at the loss of a great human. I will miss being able to join Earl and Doreen on their walks as we did with Gord also. Earl's daily jocularity is what was needed to get through a day. Wisdom of the ages and a fine story was always his nature. The whole court will miss you. Rest in Peace my friend.
Sincerely sorry to hear of Uncle Earl's passing. He was such a positive, upbeat person who was constantly up to some good hearted mischief. Don and Maureen Morford
Our sincere condolences to all of Earl's family. We only got to know Earl in the last 4 weeks, Ron and Earl were room mates in NHH. We loved his booming voice, sense of humour and our reminiscing of long ago days gone by in Cobourg. He will be sorrily missed, May he rest in peace.
Our sincere condolences to all the families. Uncle Earl was a mischievous happy go lucky guy . My dad Max Smith would come home from working with Doc and tell us how doc had hidden Ross's or Gords tools. Keep all your memories close to your heart and we all will get through this difficult time.
Condolences to all of Earls family. Earl and Gord made every trip with me on the bus to the Casino. They were 2 of the nicest gentlemen I ever met. RIP Earl. Gord will be waiting for you.
With my deepest sympathy to all those who loved “Uncle”Earl. Who did not love his kindness, laughter, booming voice and huge smile. He will be dearly missed at St. Peter’s Court but most of all in the blueberry patch. RIP Uncle Earl.
Earl certainly was one of a kind! May he rest in peace.
My thoughts and prayers with all of the Crydermans and their extended families. I went to Merwin Greer with the girls and would sometimes see Earl out walking when I visited my late brother at St Peters Court. Earl always had a smile and loved his walks
My sincere condolences to all of Earl’s family. First met Earl 70 years ago when he was bulldozing for my parents house. Always enjoyed our chats when our paths crossed. RIP Earl.
RIP, dear friend. You are so dearly missed. Condolenses to all the family.
