Suzan Eleanor "Sue" Hope

My beautiful wife, I can still remember asking who that pretty girl was walking the halls of the East High School, little did I know I was looking at my future wife and mother of my children. The love you have for your children and grandchildren makes me so proud to be your husband. Your family is so kind, generous and loves me like a son. The smile on your face after securing your first lost dog brought me much joy, I knew you had found your next calling. The strength you showed as we traveled this past year not once complaining to make sure that I was having a good time. You are the strongest person I have ever known and you showed it as you battled and fought to stay with your loved ones for as long as you could. My heart is broken and my body is aching because it knows I have lost the love of my life. The picture you hung in our house with the words " I LOVE US " says it all. Love forever, Shawn <3

It was a shock for me to hear that Sue has passed away. She was one of my best friends in public school, and I have such fond memories of the fun times we had together—sleepovers, talking for hours in a made-up foreign language, singing "Bat Out of Hell" at the top of our lungs while jumping on her bed, and even once playing hooky from school to play detective in "Hobo Jungle." She was funny, creative, and adventurous. Truly a wonderful friend. My condolences to the Hope family for your loss.
