Rob & Family My deepest condolences on the loss of your Mom. She was a bright light at Legion Village. Her beautiful smile and positive attitude will be missed. Penny
John ,Lek and families. My sincere sympathies.
Dearest Chrissie: I met you the very first time I played at the Cobourg Badminton Club after moving from Toronto. I didn’t know anyone in town but immediately felt a kinship to you, a blond woman with a Scottish accent. I believe you and Jack had just started dating and thought you were a match made in heaven. I invited the two of you to dinner at our Brook Road N home so we could get to know you better and the next thing I know the four of us were taking these wonderful vacations together full of many sets of feisty tennis, 18 holes of golf, topnotch dinner out and a few hours of testy bridge and that was each & every day. So competitive and exhausting playing for Jack’s Mercedes Cup but the best trips ever and we had many: Florida, Hilton Head, Bahamas and Ontario cottage country. My kids’ favourite treats were your Ranger Cookies (I still have the recipe). You called me your ‘little sister’ (the Ontario one cause Joyce was the real sister) and never in all the years did you ever forget to send Peter & I a Christmas card and individual birthday cards. I’m going to really miss this May’s Birthday cards but I will never forget you and your sweet affection. You are in my heart forever, Linda. PS Peter & I will be sending Robert a personal letter & some old photos.
Sincere condolences from a former Dunbar Garden neighbour. Remembering a lovely lady. Thoughts are with Chris’s family. Linda McGaw
Dear Robert and family, I was very sad to hear of your mother’s passing. She was so kind and nice. Lots of wonderful times together, staying at your house when my parents were on vacation, swimming in the pool. Dr. And Mrs. Leeson, wonderful family friends and neighbours.
I am saddened to read this news of your Mum, Robert. Chris and Jack and my parents, Binty and Robbie Robertson, were good friends for many years. Thinking about you and sending sympathy to you, Lilia and Ainsley and also to Dr. Leeson’s family. Sincerely, Damian and Rosemary (Robertson) Bassett
