Passed away peacefully in his own home on May 16th, 2024 at 2:26 a.m. He was the tender age of 78.
David was predeceased by his parents Harold and Rose Chamberlain. He was the loving husband to Shelly Chamberlain. They had 45 wonderful years together. He was beloved by his daughter Sandra (Jer) Wilbrink and his son Dave (Brandee Pike) Chamberlain.
Survived by his siblings Harry (Ella) Chamberlain, Ann (the late Ray) Dafoe and Elizabeth (the late Bill).
Predeceased by his siblings Gordon (Jeanette), Lawrence, (Rosa), Marie (John), Charles (Brenda), William (the late Alice), Ralph (the late Lorna), George.
David was a proud grandfather and will be forever loved by his six grandchildren; Rachel, Cody, Brandon, Travis, Stephanie and Curtis. David also had 15 great-grandchildren -- 1 predeceased (Sophia). David will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
The loss of David will also affect close friends, Sherry Minogue, Nancy Tripp and Lorraine Hall.
David’s family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Sherry Minogue, Lisa-Ann Davidson, Teresa Cronk and to Pastor Rita and his extended church family.
David found great joy in the simple pleasures, such as fishing in the serene waters of Picton, where he would spend countless hours casting his line and enjoying the tranquility of nature. His love for the Toronto Blue Jays was unmatched and he could often be found cheering on his favourite team with boundless enthusiasm.
A memorial service for David will be held at Grace Christian Reformed Church on Friday, May 24 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow in church hall.
Donations in David’s memory can be made to Northumberland Christian School or direct to Shelly Chamberlain.
We love you always and forever.

Still cant believe your gone David, you will truly be missed. We had many laughs together and got into a bit of trouble with Shelly with our shenanigans'. I know your are looking down on us and will forever be owe angel. Rest easy.
