Wellington Rae Waring

September 21, 1935 - May 10, 2024

Peacefully, on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Port Hope Extendicare, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Burt). Loving father of Steven (Brenda), Jamie (Kathy Palko), Tim (Jennifer) and Joe (Nancy). Cherished grandfather of Lewis (Deniz Yildrim), Patrick, Catherine, Tina (Aaron Philipp-Muller), Ali and Christopher. Dear brother of the late Bethy (the late Paul) Ranney, Alan (Ethel), the late Jim (Donna) and brother-in-law of the late Gerry (the late Georgette) Burt, the late Brian (the late Eleanor Hart) Burt and the late Doug (Joyce) Burt. Rae will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and Paula. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church, Cobourg. Donations to YMCA Strong Kids, Cobourg Ecology Garden or Trinity United Church would be appreciated.
