Linda and Delkie and family, We are sorry to learn of this sadness in your family. We wish you all the best at this time of loss.
Our time with Harold at Island Park was short, but ever so sweet. He was a very kind and thoughtful man, with a GREAT sense of humour! He was also a wonderful story teller and I will miss his stories of all his crazy adventures. My deepest condolences to his family; he spoke very highly of each and every one of you! He also had a great love for music; I will miss listening to the "newfie" greats with him.. Here is a piece from one of our favorites, 'Aggie': "As I walked by the dockside one evening so rare, To view the still waters and take the salt air - I heard an old fisherman, singing this song - "Oh, take me away, boys, me time is not long" Wrap me up in me oilskins and jumper - No more on the docks I'll be seen - Just tell me old shipmates, I'm taking a trip mates, And I'll see them someday, in Fiddlers' Green" RIP Harold ❤️
