June 30, 1955 - April 12, 2024
Diane Anita Morrison passed away peacefully at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre, Cobourg, on Friday April 12, 2024, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Richard “Rick” Morrison. Diane is predeceased by her parents Richard and Irene (nee Gauvreau) Lampman of Sudbury. She is survived by brothers Danny (Marie) and Nelson, sister Patti, brothers-in-law Peter (Nancy) and Stuart and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service and interment will take place at St. George’s Anglican Church, Grafton on Saturday, June 1st at 11am. This will be followed by a lunch and a celebration of life at noon in Canon Nind Hall, adjacent to St. George’s.
Diane enjoyed many activities and found real pleasure in the people she met. She always had a smile and was always willing to help others. She was active in her church, St. George’s, was an ardent bridge player and was involved with the Grafton Horticultural Society and the Northshore Probus Club. She, with Rick, shared an interest in antique cars and especially liked to dress up in period clothing when touring with the cars.
