It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of our beloved mother Joan Marie Low (nee Denyer) born on March 6, 1943 and passed away on March 10, 2024. She was the only child born to Olive May Baldwin and Les Denyer. Joan was the much loved wife of Peter Morton Low for 24 years before his passing in 1988. Mom leaves behind her children who cherished her; Kerri (Mike Miller), Geoff (Karen) and their son Samuel Michael Low, Daniel and his son Jacob Peter Low. Also missed by her sweet rescue kitty Marnie. Mom lived at Legion Village in Cobourg where she absolutely loved her home there. Her PSW’s in her later years became part of her family, and Ann became like a second daughter to mom. Special mention to her friends Flo and Sharon, among others who made mom’s life complete. Mom loved reading books, playing her music, decorating her home and our many special family gatherings. Cremation with a private family graveside interment at Port Hope Union Cemetery. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Diabetes Canada or the Kidney Foundation.

I'm so very sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I only knew her for a short time last year, when I helped her to adopt little Marnie. I thought she was a very endearing lady and I'm sure you will all miss her terribly. Rest in peace, sweet Joan.
