??Mary Mead was one incredible, strong, loving ,caring, supportive person; who touched everyone with her gifts. A true Matriarch for so many not just her own family but for all that entered into her life. A woman who let everyone know the power of prayer ? & that with Gods help miracles happen. Mary had the power to make every single person she met feel that they were special & that she genuinely cared or loved them just the way they were. Unconditional ? love & acceptance. Mary understood the human condition & how people struggle in life & need acceptance & to know someone cares about them. Mary was always there for everyone with open home, open heart, open ears to support everyone who needed it. Mary was so central to so many , her presence cannot be replaced & she leaves a huge unforgettable gap in so many people’s lives. The only way people can continue to bring Mary’s presence in their lives is to talk to her & about her, tell stories about her & her gifts, trying to follow her examples & words with each other & to other people. All the while, knowing Mary is watching over all those she knew & loved & sending Heavenly blessings into their lives, as always. Mary thank you for all you gave us, you are loved, missed beyond measure, happy to be with John again, rest peacefully in God’s loving arms till we meet again. Duane.

We were so sad to hear of Mary’s death. She and John were so kind to us and our young children when we first moved to Coronation Crescent. They were just wonderful neighbours.Our deepest condolences to the Meade family.

Mary was my bus driver and held a very special place in the hearts of my mom, my sister and myself. She was a dear friend from bus driver to just pleasant visits when we saw each other in public. There are so many great memories to share. One in recent memory… I was driving down King Street - I saw this woman walking and was admiring her style, she had on a beautiful white trench coat and scarf. I couldn’t help but admire.
