Went to be with the Lord peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024, Dolly Buttar (nee Elliston) at 93 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Jack Buttar. Dear mother of Ralph Buttar (Susan), Rick Buttar (Millie), Rhonda Eagles (Brent), Renna Buttar, Ryan Buttar (Dorothy), and the late John Buttar. Cherished grandmother of Dan (Melissa), Michelle (Jonathan), Amanda (Eric), Jenny (Tyler), Graham (Marianne), Gordon (Barbie), Bambi, Starr, Kris, Jenny and great grandmother of twenty-four and great great grandmother of three. Predeceased by her siblings Herb Elliston, Eva Mason, Marion Milam and Violet Hill. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation with a Memorial Service to be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Tuesday February 27th, 2024 at 11 am, with visitation for one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 am. Reception to follow in the funeral home Reception Centre with interment following at Cobourg Union Cemetery. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation or to a charity of choice.
