Our family was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dianne. She was truly a remarkable person who left a lasting mark on all of us fortunate enough to have known her. Dianne’s infectious positivity and joyful energy lit up every room she entered, making it impossible not to gravitate towards her warmth and light. Growing up alongside Dianne, we witnessed firsthand her boundless energy, quick wit, and unwavering authenticity. She was a beacon of love, support, and generosity, and her absence will be sorely felt by all whose lives she touched. Dianne was my son Noahs Kindergarten teacher. We hit it off right away and became friends outside of the classroom. I have never met such a vibrant personality. Dianne sparkled on the outside and sparkled even more on the inside. Her classroom was filled with dance parties, tea parties, incredible concerts and out-of-this-world crafts that we will cherish forever. Dianne truly cared about the children and their success. She put in so much time and effort, even outside of school hours, to ensure her class was reaching their full potential. Dianne and I shared our love for Bichons and she treated my little Rafa as her own, just like she treated my son like family. Dianne carried a light with her that only those who knew her can explain. This light was infectious. And I know it is still shining bright. To her dear family, I'm terribly sorry for your loss. To have shared your journey with such a woman is truly a gift. So saddened to hear about the passing of Dianne. I grew up with Alexa and spent countless hours at their house. Dianne always took me in like one of her own. She was always known as the “cool mom” at school and she brought spontaneous energy into everyone’s life. I will forever remember all the memories of spending time with her and family in Myrtle beach. She cared for me like a third child on those vacations and I am forever grateful to have known her. Dianne and I arrived at Gummow from Montreal a year apart over thirty years ago. We spent our whole careers there. Gummow was our home away from home. We shared life together with many tears and much laughter. Throughout the years, we watched our families grow and change. Dianne always had a great zest for life. There was never a dull moment when you were with Dianne. You could always count on having a grand time. With sadness, we mourn the loss of our friend while cherishing all the great memories. My sincere condolences to Dianne’s family. I met her while working at CR Gummow quite a few years ago. We shared an incident there and ended up jumping around together, outside the school in a softly snowing evening. I remember we were laughing and yelling. So many memories and a deep sadness for the loss of a vivacious spirit, who would fill rooms with her radiated liveliness and smile, and instantly make lasting impressions with all those she came into contact with. I first met Dianne on a volleyball court shortly after she had arrived in Ontario. I can still recall her playing that game with perfectly manicured Barbie pink coloured nails! Over the years following, I appreciated she was a rare and special person, so beautiful, creative, thoughtful and beyond generous. She was a unique multipotentialite. I admired her for her balance between being tremendously hard-working and fun-loving. I loved her curiosity and sense of mischief. It was exciting and a joy being in her presence. I have many fond memories of trying to make gingerbread houses as a parent volunteer in the class room and always enjoyed the class trips .I witnessed what a gifted teacher she was.

I worked with Dianne in kindergarten at Gummow for many years. Though we drifted apart over the years since then, I thought of her often. She was the type of lady to make an impression! I always admired her straightforward manner (you always knew what she was thinking!), her dedication to her students, and her sharp fashion sense. The world is a less colourful place without her in it.

Our whole family is devastated for your loss. What a gift she was to so many children and their families. She had such passion for her work, making it fun, stretching children to give their best and she had a vivacious energy about her.
