This good man will surely be missed on earth. He lived his faith. He and Peggy were two peas in a pod and did everything together with wisdom, dignity--and humour, sometimes more humour than I could take, but always with a one liner that left one laughing! Mr Linton (Paul) would end his prayers with, '...and we'll be careful to give You all the glory. We pray in JESUS' name, amen.' May it be so and may this good man's family and legacy be blessed. Pr'rs.
Dear Peggy I am so happy Henry & I visited with Paul at NHH over meal times. If asked how he was, he would say, "better then I deserve". He said you both had been on cruises. He was a gentle, kind person. May you cherish the times and memories you have shared together. Shirley O'Brien 905 376 0231

Love you Peg. Our condolences to your entire family. A donation will be made to the Alliance Church in Paul’s memory. The Dalgarno family
So many fond memories of Paul. Whenever Iris and I saw him and Peggy both on our walks in Cobourg he always had a joke for us that made us laugh. Whenever he referred to me he would call me super Dave, lol! I hadn't seen him in sometime but even the last time Iris saw him he asked her about me saying, 'how's super Dave?' He was a very loving, kind and generous man, not someone you would soon forget. We envision him now in the words of Malachi 4:2; 'But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.'
If I were St. Peter at the gate to heaven I would say “ Well Done faithful servant!! Welcome Home.”
He touched the lives of so many with his quick wit, wisdom and great sense of humour. Our deepest condolences Peggy and family at the lost of a soul mate, father and grandfather. He is at peace with His maker, thinking of you as you grieve his loss on earth. ❤️
Dear Peg and family, I knew Paul to be a man of prayer and his time with his Lord reflected in the life he lived. We feel very blessed to have known him. Our prayers continue for you. Judy and Mike

Dear Peggy and family, I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Even though it has been a few years since I last saw Paul, I will always remember his warm smile and sense of humour. Over the past 20+ years, whenever we chatted he would call me not by my real name but as "digger o'dell the friendly undertaker." His jovial nature was very much appreciated and he always had time to chat. He was a faithful servant of Christ and served at Cobourg Alliance for as long as I can remember. Please know that I am thinking of you and praying for you at this difficult time.

Peg and the whole Linton family, We have 60 years of memories with Paul and Peg. Babysitting their boys, their boys babysitting our kids, boating, lots of games of Rook, a trip to Moosonee, serving together to build the church on Ontario street, chatting over meals at Rosewood, even meeting up after a hockey game in Fort Lauderdale. Paul has just been part of our lives forever it seems. Our families have grown up together. We will miss him dearly. Such a comfort to know he is with Jesus. Paul served him faithfully all these years. We will be praying for you all.
Paul was a fine mentor and dear friend of many of the members of our Pine Ridge Chapter - Ontario Building Officials Association. His gladly shared his wisdom and vast building code knowledge with all who requested his help. We will miss our fine friend and colleague. Rest in Peace Paul. Rick Jones, Brighton Chief Building Official (retired)

To All the Linton family - Paul was such a kind and gentle man who always greeted you with a big smile and had time to chat and catch up. Growing up as neighbours even many years later he would ask me if I could still "skin the cat" as it was something we would do as youngsters and we would always laugh and he would get a kick out of remembering it. A few years ago my husband and I ran into Paul and Peggy at an extravaganza in Lakeland Fl. My husband Bruce "B" is an electrician and got to know Paul quite well when he hired him to wire his houses. Paul was a wonderful man who will be remembered by many. Our thoughts are with you all as he is laid to rest.

Linton family. What truly can be said. We are so very sorry you have lost a good one. Paul harrassed me every time upon meeting each other for over 60 years. From the time I was a little girl and Mildred used to baby sit me to our last visit. And trust me Paul never let me forget being called "Iodine" by Meleville. Our families go way way back and I can say the boys are still my friends. Doug, Donald, Bev and the rest of the Linton family again so sorry. My heart is with you all. Karen & Dale Hall
