Suddenly, but peacefully, at her home in Cobourg on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, Claire Mabey at 84 years of age. Former wife of Phillip Mabey. Loving mother of Chris Mabey (Karen), the late Paul, the late Terri (Stephen). Cherished grandmother of Darryl (Brett), Mark (Taylor), Jessica (Rob), Ryan, Matthew (Shannon), David (Melissa), Ren, and great grandmother of Grace, Oliver, Sabina, Levi, and Ellis. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

The Maybe family. I am so so sorry for your loss. Take comfort in each other and voice your memories. There are no words I can say to ease the pain in this difficult time. As the days go by, remember all the fun, laughs, jokes, and share with each other. Hold on to each other and know that she will never be gone because she left her heart with all of you. There will be signs from her to let you know she is still with you in spirit. Her favorite song, a site of a bird, butterflys around her favorite flowers, smell of her perfume, a thought, finding something you lost. There are so many signs. But she will also come to you in your dreams.
