I am very sad to hear of Mrs.B’s passing but she gave me so many fantastic memories in NDG that when I think of her, I smile. Especially because you remember her for her warm and infectious smile. My thoughts are with you JJ and your family but her legacy lives on with you. Stay well.
Dear JJ, Your mom’s warmth, her kindness, and her supportive caring nature will be missed by many. She was so loving and how she loved you! She was from a generation that we’ve lost and need more of. I loved her humanity, her honesty, her great spirit, and her love of life. Hearing from her made me feel at home again! I have many wonderful memories of your mom and being at your country home in Ste Adele. One of my favourites will always be Halloween. When we arrived at your house, standing outside, were your mom, my mom, and Elizabeth Fraikin in their costumes thinking they could fool us and they almost did!! My heart breaks for you during this most difficult time of sorrow and grief. Our deepest condolences to the Belanger family. Know that I loved your mother and I’m so grateful to have reconnected with her after all these years. Anew, I gained a greater appreciation of just how special she was. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. With love from me and mom. I will miss you so Mrs. B. You will always be remembered.
JJ, Deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. She was funny, amazing, kind hearted and adored by many. I have such fond memories of her and your dad up north...was fun when both our mom's were involved in Juniors' golf program. Many hours spent at your house having fun with the gang, hanging out and going down to lake on the pedalo. I had many great conversations with her over the years on messenger. We reminisced a lot....Your mom will be missed by many although heaven just got another beautiful. Rest in peace Mrs. B. xoxo
Jj, my most sincere condolences. Your Mom was wonderful! She and your Dad were great friends of my father, Al Beaubien. Marilyn and I connected in Cobourg and went for lunch a few times and had a great time. I met you at her 80th birthday celebration. She loved you and your family so much and spoke of you often. I will miss her hearty laugh, great sense of humor and amazing outlook on life. My heart is with you at this sad time.
Words are not enough to say how sad I am that my Bar buddy has passed away. Many good times to remember
I am very sorry to hear about Marilyn's passing. She was a neighbor of my mom (Jessie Schmidt) at Legion Village and I often would see her while visiting my mom. She was a wonderful upbeat person and we often spoke about our mutual hometown (Montreal). We even learned that she had a friend who lived in my parents former condominium apartment on Lansdowne avenue in Montreal. Rest in Peace Marilyn.
Sending sincere condolences to Sandy, JJ and family on your loss. Marilyn had such a big heart and gift for making everyone she met feel special. She will be sadly missed.
Sincere condolences to Marilyn's Family, I had the pleasure to serve Marilyn in the dining room at Legion Village. Always loved going to her table as she would always make me laugh/smile. She was a part of me getting through my very first days at LV years ago, in many ways. Thank you Marilyn. You will be missed by all.
Mrs B truly was amazing! Every summer when JJ and I were kids she would always welcome me over and take such great care of us. She also put ceaseless hours and effort into organising the Juniors at the Alpine Inn Golf Club, setting up lessons, arranging inter-club tournaments, and making every kid feel so encouraged. JJ, my heart goes out to you and your family at this time.
JJ and family, So sorry for the loss of dear Marilyn. My parents Jean and Gordon Odell were great friends of your parents in the old days in Saint Adele. I remember your Mom always had a great smile and laugh. She will be missed. May she Rest In Peace Vicki
