So sorry to hear of Cheryl’s passing. I find it unimaginable that there is no mention of her sister, Wendy. Very distasteful.

I had the pleasure of meeting Cheryl. I have never met a more positive outgoing person. So sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to the family. She is certainly missed.

I'm so saddened to hear of Cheryl's passing. My sincerest sympathy to her family during this difficult time ahead. I knew Cheryl by working with her at the Board office at KPRDSB. She was a lovely, kind, and always had a smile for everyone. A real loss to the community. Hold onto the memories close to your heart.

Really sorry to learn of Cheryl’s passing. I worked with her on the executive committee of the motorcycle club for a number of years. She was the best Prez ever. Focussed, eye on the ball, always prepared with an agenda for our meetings. But also warm and kind to everyone, she made the club a welcoming place for all members. She participated in all of our group rides and luncheons and was equally comfortable with one-on-ones or making a speech to a large group. When she decided to hang up the helmet, it turned out that she was irreplaceable, and so we ended up disbanding the club. My condolences to Rob and the rest of the family. Tim Glass

I am so deeply saddened to hear about Cheryl's passing. She was a very dear person and a dedicated employee of KPRDSB. Cheryl worked with me as my Admin. Assistant when I first became a Superintendent with KPR. I will never forget her assistance to me personally, her kind heart, dedication to kids, tremendous work ethic and sense of humour. That humour helped us get through some challenging moments together and I will always be grateful. My thoughts and prayers are with Cheryl's family through this sad and difficult time. I loved spending time with her in the score booth at Fastpitch tourneys... she taught me loads about how to track best and even more about commitment to and love of the game... she always bragged about the kids and grands and was so proud of each and every one of you... her fighting spirit will be remembered and I hope you all find peace and strength in the love you share with each other...

Donna, I am so sad to hear about the passing of your dear daughter Cheryl. My daughter Donna, was friends with her daughters. Death is such a hard thing to deal with, so just hang on tight to your memories.

Cheryl, I will never forget how kind and helpful you were to me at work and how much fun we had at our Blue Mountain conference. I have the most peaceful pic of you there. That is how I will remember you, peaceful and happy. You will be so missed.

I enjoyed our conversations at work about trips to Cuba; we were at the same resort, Memories Flamenco, at same time ironically. She was always smiling and had a positive outlook on life. She will be deeply missed, my sincere condolences to the family.

Was really amazed when I heard this. How do you say good bye to a dear friend when you know they went too soon. I will miss her. The cottage life, the casino days, Cuba holidays, Canada Day celebrations, Wine tours, Cuban BBQ's and of course, our famous train journey up north. Deepest sympathy to Robert and the family. Cheryl was a lovely lady, both Kelly and I came to know her through the motorcycle club we all belonged to. She was a strong leader of the group and a friend to us all. Our heart goes out to you Robert, and your’s and Cheryl’s whole family. She will be missed by so many.

Cheryl was a wonderful, caring and fun loving person. A true pleasure to be around. We met Cheryl and Rob many years ago in Cuba and they were founding members of the "Canadian Pirates" who enjoyed all that Cuba had to offer. More than that, Cheryl proved to be an inspiration to all of us who witnessed her courageous battle against cancer. A smiling warrior with the biggest heart we've ever seen. Godspeed, Cheryl.
