Peacefully and surrounded by family, Alan Ross Harris (Gore's Landing) passed away in the early evening of Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the age of 77 years old. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Diane (nee Johnston) of 53 years, sons Luke and Joshua and daughter-in-law Rebecca. Forever cherished and remembered by his grandchildren Keegan and Gracie who brought much joy into his life. He will be remembered by his loving siblings Lucille Hillson (Howard) of Peterborough, Murray Harris (Betty) of Harwood, Carmen Harris (Margaret) of Gore's Landing, Joe Harris (Barbara) of Gore's Landing, and Dan Harris. Alan was the brother-in-law of Jo-Ann and Gary McQuaid of Kakabeka Falls, Thunder Bay, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Parents Catherine and Douglas Harris and nephew Christopher McQuaid. Friend to Susan and John Bickle. A Celebration Of Life will be held on Sunday January 14, 2024 from 1 to 4 pm at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, in the Reception Centre, 30 King St. E., Cobourg. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
