Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Friday December 1st, 2023 in her 63rd year. Beloved partner of Kevin Mahon. Loving sister of Carol Warenam, Gordon Hearty, James Hearty and the late Holly Kostiuk. Dear step-mother of Courtney Mahon and Rebecca McNeil and aunt of Talis, Ashley and Steven. At Susan’s request there will be no visiting or service. Cremation with interment at a later date.
My sincere condolences to the Hearty family. Susan, Holly, Cindy and I use to be inseparable rebels at G.B. Warren Junior High and Emery Collegiate. Terrific memories. RIP Holly and Susan.

My cousin, Sue and I grew up spending amazing summers together with our siblings at our cottages on Rice Lake. Unfortunately, we lost contact growing up but recently reconnected when I moved out this way 10 years ago. Sadly we still did not see enough of each other and I will always regret that. My heart goes out to Jim, Carol, Gord and Kevin.
I meet Susan when we were 12 years old. We instantly became best friends. Much later on we became distance so unfortunate. I am very sorry to hear of her passing. I will cherish the friendship we had. RIP Susan. 🙏
