Peacefully at his home in Cobourg on Sunday, November 19, 2023, Terry Hadwyn at 78 years of age. Former husband of the late Cheryl Hammond and will be missed by Val McArthur. Beloved father of Clinton Hadwyn (Tracey Henry) and the late Matthew Hadwyn. Dear grandfather of Ashton (Sidney), Marlowe, Aaron, and Daniel. Brother of Gary (Anne), Joanne, Jaqueline, and the late Paul. Terry was the former owner of a number of bars including The Zoo Bar/Whitehouse, Sin City, Jimmy the Greeks, Off Campus and the Plaza Bar in Cobourg. He worked at Outboard Marine and was a tool and dye maker in his younger years as well as being a realtor in the Peterborough area and owning a number of other businesses. Terry was a great story teller, and I hope everyone will continue to share their stories about him, for years to come. Cremation with celebration to be announced at a later date. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
I worked for Terry at the plaza. A great guy with a big heart and a contagious laugh. He was a pleasure to work for. Rest in peace, Terry.

Terry was a funny, laid back, outspoken and loved his Dog Nicco and cat Roy. He will be missed by many and his stories will live forever. Sending love and strength to all during this difficult time.
