So sorry to hear that Howie has left us. He was a fine, fine man and we (Martin and we 5 wayward children) always appreciated going skating with him just before Christmas. He was delightful; what a great sense of humour! Catherine Smee
So sorry to read of Howie's passing. No better Dalewood golf partner, always positive. Great memories. R.I.P. Howie.
Howie was a great friend and an even greater competitor when it came to golf. We had many many good times on the course at Myakka Pines Golf Course and afterwards in the grill room where old stories and bragging rights abounded. He will be missed by all of "The New Englanders" team.
Our sincerest sympathies to Marie, and to Howie's family, on their loss. We met Howie in Florida at Myakka Pines Golf Course. Howie played with the New Englanders, who turned out to be mostly Canadian members over time. We will miss his big smile and friendly face. Marie, you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Susan and Drew Nameth

Our hearts go out to Lynn, Tracy and their families. Uncle Howie was full of personality. We had some enjoyable moments having conversations with him. I’m sure he will be missed. Mark and Sherry Cully
I attended High School at Malvern Collegiate Institute and knew Howie and Keith through our years there. Then my husband and I retired from Toronto to live in Cobourg. Bill was a member at Dalewood Golf Course and I was a later member. It was at Dalewood that we discovered that Howie had also retired to Cobourg and was a member at Dalewood. Howie was a true gentleman and liked by all who had the pleasure to know him. He will be missed by many people. RIP Howie!
My best friend for 75 years. I will miss him and will never forget him.

I am very sorry to all who knew Uncle Howie. He was such a nice man who was well respected by everyone who had a chance to have him in their lives. I'm happy he had such a full life.
Tracy, Rachel & Blake Thinking of you and your family, with deepest sympathies Danielle
Tracy, Blake, Rachel and families I am so sorry to learn of your Dad’s (and grandfather’s) passing. It sounds like he had a good long full life. I used to see him around Henry Street out walking in the early mornings when I was out running. One morning while I was out running he remarked that he used to have better knees and could run like me! I hope that you cherish the good memories you have of Howie in your hearts forever. Take care.
Marie and all of Howard’s family, We are sorry for your loss. Please accept our sincere condolences. Tom & Carol Ann
