From this day forward Mother's Day will have special significance for our family, as an annual celebration & remembrance of her life. Muriel was known for her wonderful humour, kindness and incredible personal strength and dedication to her family. She gave us so much and left behind so many lives enriched by her presence on earth. Mom is in heaven with relatives and friends and in the arms once again of Philip and Robert. Our tears are not for her , but for us who are left temporarily behind and must learn a new way of feeling her presence in our lives. Special thanks to support staff, nurses, doctors and specialists at Northumberland Hills Hospital, for their outstanding efforts to prepare Mom for her final journey. Don't be saddened by what you could not do for her, but take joy in what you were able to do for her so well. Visitation will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E., Cobourg on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be offered at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church at 379 Division St., Cobourg on Thursday May 12th, at 10 am. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.
