March 7, 1952 - October 3, 2023

Peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, Donald Knights at 71 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Jane Knights (nee Peters). Cherished father of Sara Marshall (Gary) and Cheryl Discenza (Nicholas). Loving grandfather of Audrey, Grace, Violet and Felix. Dear brother of Carol Ingram (Gord) and Alan Knights (Erin). Predeceased by his parents Charles and Margaret Knights. Also missed by his nieces, nephews, and friends. A service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Saturday, October 7th 2023 at 1 pm. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation. The family would also like to invite family and friends to a reception at The Best Western 930 Burnham St., in Cobourg on Saturday October 7th, 2023 from 2 to 4:30 pm.

So sorry to hear that Mr. Knights has passed. Though I met him only once, my brother,Danny Prentice, spoke of him so often that I feel like he is an old friend. Danny has missed him a lot since he left the area. Rest peacefully in paradise Mr. Knights. Condolences to all of his family

Don was a delightful man . He always seemed cheerful and ready to help.
