It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of William Harold “Bill” Wharram at the Ed’s House Hospice Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the age of 73. Bill passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. Bill will be forever loved by his wife Rhonda Wharram (nee: Dolley) whom he shared 13 years of marriage with. Bill will be greatly missed by his sons Evan (Eileen) Wharram, Scott (the late Hilary) Wharram and Matthew (Alycia) Wharram, their mother Taran Wharram and his step children Jason (Emily) Denny and Jordan Denny. Loved son to Ilene Wharram and the late Harold Wharram. Loved grandfather to Chelsea (Paul) Toonders, Chase Long, Renee Hodgins, Caleb Wharram, Leah Wharram, Aidan Wharram, Avery Wharram, Emily Wharram, Madison Wharram, Saedy Denny, Willow Denny as well as his great grandchildren, The late Hannah Hodgins, Colton Dickins and Emma Dickins. Brother to Beverley (Blaire) Sayers, Sharron (Brian) Wharram- Spry, Terry (the late Diane) Wharram, David Wharram and Ray (Chris) Wharram. Bill will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as all of his extended friends and family. Bill dedicated his life to his family, friends, and the tree industry. An arborist and entrepreneur, he was not only known for his work ethic, but also for his compassion and willingness to help others whenever needed. The family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to Ed’s House Hospice for their compassion towards Bill and his family, and they would like to express their appreciation for Dr Kate Everdell for her unwavering care of Bill. A private family graveside service will be held at Cobourg Union Cemetery. A Celebration of Life in Memory of Bill will take place at the Baltimore Arena 23 Community Centre Road, Baltimore, ON Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 2:00 -5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre or the Canadian TREE Fund.
