Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, Ontario, on August 29th, 2023 in her 76th year. Born Margaret Lorainne Campbell in Brampton, Ontario on October 31st, 1946 to the late Doug and Ethel (nee Brock) Campbell. Lorainne worked for Northumberland County up until her retirement, and spent her last years at her home in Cold Springs tending to her gardens and collecting antiques. Lorainne enjoyed music and the company of her many friends. She leaves behind her husband of 49 years Tom, and daughters Chara (Paul) and Shawna, and grandson Hayes. She was predeceased by her younger sister Shelley Chapman. She will be fondly remembered by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and many great friends. A celebration of life will be held at the family home 8722 Wallace Jibb Rd., Cobourg on Saturday October 14th, 2023 from 1-4 pm. with words of remembrance at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Diabetes Canada or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

Condolences to all of Lorainne's family. I have many fond memories of the Campbell clan growing up. Cousin Lorainne was always the adventuresome one & I looked forward to her visits to Gravenhurst. Deepest sympathy to Tom, Chara and Shawna. R.I.P. Lorainne.

To the Coulter family; I was so sorry to hear of Lorainne's passing. She was a great friend. We had a lot of fun together but drifted apart in the last 3 years or so. My condolences to you all. Sharon

My deepest condolences to Tom, Shawna, Chara, Paul, little Hayes and Lorraine’s extended family. May all the memories you made and the good times you had together help you through this very sad time. I’ll always remember Lorraine’s hearty laugh, her love for her family, for flowers and antiques. Lorraine often spoke of her backyard deck from where she could see her gardens and the various ducks and geese she found amusing. Rest in Peace dear Lorraine and enjoy that heavenly garden that awaits you.

I know she loved you girls and always wanted the best for you. She never thought she would get to be a grandmother and I am glad to see her wish came true. May Lorraine now rest in peace.
