It is with heavy hearts the family of Bill Hewson announce his unexpected passing at the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the age of 67. Bill passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. In the midst of sadness to losing such a special person, there is some peace knowing that he was met and reunited with his soul mate and wife, Gloria who pre-deceased him 13 years ago. Pre-deceased by his parents Ted and Jackie Hewson. Bill, or as many knew him as ‘Billy- Boy”, will be missed by his many great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. So very sorry for loss❤️
It is with a heavy heart that I'm hearing about Bill's passing. We met online as a result of both of us losing our spouses around the same time. Being from Winnipeg, we had many phone conversations about our broken hearts and we knew what each other was going through. Bill was a huge support and friend to me for which I will be forever grateful. Our mutual love for the Toronto Maple Leafs was always fun to discuss. I will miss our analysis of what we thought the team needed. My sincere condolences to the family, especially to his grandchildren whom Bill would always tell me that they were his world. RIP buddy! 💔
