It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Roy Reid on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Campbellford Memorial Hospital with family by his side.
Born in Twillingate Newfoundland on April 22, 1940, he was the son of the late Reg Reid and Maggie Phillips (Antsy) Reid.
Roy is survived by his step-daughter, Kim Durocher (Tim), step-son Frank Durocher (Aggie), granddaughter Danielle Fontaine, grandson Nick Fontaine-Bath in U.S.A., Grandsons Dustin Brunelle (Stephanie) and Chad Brunelle (Ashley), nine great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews in Ontario and Nova Scotia, his sister-in-law Winnie Gerrow, and best friends and neighbour, Francine and Bruce Rogers.
Roy was predeceased by his loving wife Cathy Reid (nee Gerrow), mother-in-law Mary Ellen Gerrow, father-in-law Chester Gerrow of Cape Breton, Brothers Hayward and twin brother Ross, and extended Antsy family. He was a long-time member of the Campbellford Odd Fellows. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday September 9th, from 1pm - 3pm at the Odd Fellows Hall, 240 Victoria Street, Campbellford. Donations may be made to Camp Trillium.

So sorry to hear of Roy's passing. Worked with him in GM. Always had a visit with him at the Roseneath beef suppers. Praying for your comfort at this time .
