Karen and Chloe Please know that you both are in our thoughts at this extremely difficult time. We were deeply saddened by the shocking news of Al’s passing. He was a good man. Al and I meet 2 decades ago through NPCC committee work and we instantly became friends. And just last year, Dawna and I had a lovely dinner and evening together when Al and you, Karen, were in Fredericton. We will always cherish the memories of that evening. Alden & Dawna Briggs
Karen, Chloe and family, our deepest sympathies and condolences. We were so shocked and saddened to hear about Al. I have such great memories of working with Al and the many laughs we shared while bantering back and forth. He was a good friend and will be remembered fondly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Libby and Jim Hopper

Karen, Chloe and family. We are so very sorry for your sudden loss. We met Al (and Karen) not too long ago and only got to spend little time with him. But what a pleasant and interesting guy! He loved talking about trips or his repair projects. My hubby sure learnt a few tricks from him. Al will be missed. We would like to offer our sincere condolences.
Karen & family: So very sorry to hear about the passing of Al . Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Wishing your beautiful memories help you through this difficult time. Sincerely, Cindy & Larry Thorn

Karen, Chloe and Jesse, I’m a firm believer that when we lose someone close to us, like a husband, father and a friend, they continue to live on through us and give us unbelievable strength. They’re so connected to us that they become a part of us. RIP my friend Al
Al was a true friend and go as far as my older brother from another mother. Al would never say no when you asked for help. Al was a teacher, a mentor and a listener. No matter what I needed Al was there to mentor/teach me how to do something when it came to the trailer or even at home. Recently, I had sucked up some rocks on my Seadoo and Al was the first one off his Seadoo to help me out. Al will be greatly missed by all. Our deepest condolences to Karen, Chloe, Jesse and all the people that came to know Al. Rest in Paradise Al
Karen and Chloe my deepest condolence for your loss.

Despite having crossed paths with Karen and Al only a year and a half ago at Rice Lake, our friendship was quickly formed. Al, a remarkable man with a passion for helping others, played a pivotal role in easing our transition to our new summer home, extending to us a warm and inviting reception. He guided us through many challenges, from securing our propane tank and activating the water supply, to managing hot water, air conditioning, and furnace operations. Al took us on a road trip exploring the neighboring counties, narrating historical points and giving advice on accessing necessities like water, fuel, and, naturally, butter tarts. Always wearing a friendly smile and often clutching a beer, with a Bloody Caesar at hand for Karen, he was ever ready for happy hour. His hospitality extended to welcoming Ronald to enjoy his Sea-Doo and allowing us to use his dock to fish. Whether suggesting excellent hotels, recommending cruises, or sharing his latest beer discoveries, he consistently offered his wisdom. The passing of Al is an incredible loss, touching us deeply and uniting us with others in mourning his abrupt departure. To Karen, Chloe, Jesse, and Tessa, we extend our heartfelt condolences. May the treasure of beautiful memories give you some comfort during this challenging time. With thoughts and care, Cindy, Mark, Edward, and Ronald Draycott
We are greatly shocked and saddened by Al’s untimely passing. Al was the best neighbour one could ever have! Always willing to help, had a great sense of humour and loved a good lively debate. Al was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed. Our deepest condolences to Karen, Chloe, Jesse and family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Gone but not forgotten. RIP AL!

Al Miller was one of the reason my husband loved driving north and working in Canada. Al made Jack feel welcome and part of the Hydro team. We both loved visiting Al, Karen and Chloe over the years. Al was warm, witty and yes - really wise too. A good sport - I have great pictures of him as the Wizard of Oz lion during the time he and Karen visited us in Italy for a week of parties. Parties - anther reason Al will be missed. Wherever he was, lights were brighter, smiles were bigger and laughter was curing us all.

Lynn and I are greatly saddened at hearing of the loss of Al. It was just a short while ago at Chloe's wedding to Jesse, where we had our usual exchange of "true life isms". Al was a man to admire for his genuine nature, he gave of himself to so many without hesitation. When I first met him I thought that he seemed to know a lot and that he only shared to be constructive, truly helpful. He could be found to have an opinion or two on life and society but he also had a sense of humor and energy that was infectious. We have all lost a good man a good human being, but we can celebrate for having known him.
Karen and Chloe My heart goes out to you both! Al was a wonderful neighbour and friend. Bill thought the world of Al and, as you know, spent lots of time talking with him when they were supposed to be shovelling the snow! Love Yvonne
