Peacefully on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, in her 59th year. Beloved wife of Robert Porter. Loving mother of Cameron (Kayla), Myles (Savannah Peters) and Bethany. Dear grandmother of River and Ember. Cherished daughter of Marion (nee Jones) and the late Charles Keilty. Sister of Lori (the late Bob Thompson) Keilty, Kim (the late Glenn) Broadley and Mark Keilty. A private family interment will take place in Cobourg Union Cemetery. What a day this is on earth. There is nothing to measure the amount of pain that we go through, when we lose a parent or a loved one. My dear Bethany! I pray this day, that the giver of life will surround you with peace and guidance to walk through this path and the wisdom to recognize meaning to this pain you're going through. May he give you the grace to see the light coming through at this time, in your life journey. You shall one day meet again. Please guid your heart to be as peaceful as possible because you will come out of this. How do we say goodbye to you? Life is not fair....if it was, you would still be here and healthy. How do you say goodbye to your little sister and youngest of the 4 of us? You left us far too soon. It feels like I should still be checking in on you to see how you are doing. You were so strong when you could have easily crumbled. But that was you. You also had a great laugh and sense of humour that I will remember. You loved your family, children and grandchildren and always had the most welcoming home and family dinners that I will also remember. We miss you and we will remember you always.
