Anne Helen Estelle Cohen

May 14, 1941 - June 5, 2023

With great sadness, we share the news of Anne Helen Estelle Cohen's passing on Monday, June 5, 2023 with MAID (medical assistance in dying).

This was certainly the most surreal experience, but for four days, we had a chance to talk, cry and laugh with her leading up to Monday. We heard stories about our mom’s life we never knew. She was surrounded by family sharing their love, gratitude and the impact she had on them. It was a brave decision to make and we were 100% supportive. She was at peace and this time with her was a beautiful gift. We are forever grateful.

Her last ‘singing’ words were “Tonight’s going to be a good night” as we played Black Eyed Peas upon her request.

Anne was the beloved mother and mother-in-law to Diana Cohen and John Hall, Amanda Cohen and Noah Segal, Jason Cohen and Andrea Blum and Smadar Cohen. Additionally, she will be dearly missed as a grandmother by Olivier and Beckham Segal, Noam Cohen, Anthony Lipari, Eli Cohen and Sarah Crane and Kiara Hall.

Anne was sister and sister-in-law to Nancy Stevenson and Gerald Wood, Jeff Stevenson and Diane Cote and aunt to Ian, David, Felicia and Veronique Stevenson.

If you would like to make a donation, in her memory, we would love you to choose: MAiDHouse

Thank you,
Amanda, Jason + Diana
