How sad and shocked we were to hear of Marie's passing. We were neighbours on D'Arcy Street for the past 6+ years, until we moved last November. We will fondly remember our conversations about teaching and education, and politics, etc. etc. Our condolences.
Marie was very dear to us and will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever. Our condolences to Marie's family.
Bryan and I were truly shocked to learn of Marie's passing, and we'd like to send our love and express our most sincere condolences to Marie's family. We met Marie shortly after moving to Cobourg during our many "beach-walks" along the shoreline; and after engaging in lengthy conversation, an instant friendship developed from that point onward. I was just thinking about her the other day, wondering why our paths hadn't crossed in awhile. Marie and I had a lot of interests in common, so there was never a shortage of topical information or spiritual insights to share with each other (perhaps because our birthdays were in the same year and month, just a week apart). And with Bryan, the topics of conversation inevitably turned to business accounting or computer matters, which she so appreciated. As I type this, I know in my heart that we will miss her presence in our lives. She was a caring, thoughtful, generous, intelligent, introspective and wise soul. We are grateful for having known her, and especially for those quality moments-in-time that we shared with our dear friend Marie.
