A wonderful lady. Rest now Sylvia.
Sincere condolences
I am deeply saddened to hear of Sylvia's passing. We first met at church (our families attended the same church in Oshawa) 75 years ago when she was 11 years old. Three years later I met her again in the 9th grade. Still later we served as junior bridesmaids at a local wedding where she met her future husband, Bill Polak, whose father and mine were distant cousins. Sylvia was a beautiful, gracious lady who I have remembered with deep affection throughout my life. To her children, I extend my heartfelt sympathy as Sylvia cannot be replaced. So sorry for your great loss.
Sandy, Heather, Matt and Mark, We are all so very sorry for your loss. Sylvia was such a kind person. Her love for all of you was very evident through the way she spoke about her family. Keeping you in our thoughts. The Gill Family
