Passed away peacefully at Ed's House Hospice in Cobourg after a battle with cancer.
Beloved father of Bryan (Christine) and Brandon Harold, both of Cobourg. Cherished grandfather to Sophie and Spencer Harold. Predeceased by parents, Jack and Fran Harold and brother, Peter.
He is survived by brothers Steve (Linda) of Peterborough and Jim (Lois) of Nova Scotia.
A lifelong resident of Cobourg, Foxy was involved in many local sports as a child and was a local tennis champ in his 20s and 30s. Whether it was hockey, softball, golf, tennis or with his beloved guitar in hand, those who knew 'the Fox', knew that there was never a dull moment when he was around. Those close to him, undoubtedly, have a song by the Beatles come to mind when they think of him.
Mike worked as a Realtor with many local brokerages as part of the local real estate association from the early 80s into the 2010s.
We, the Family, would like to thank the many friends (and the 5 Js and families) who've helped Dad with some of his struggles through the years and most recently by being at his side in his final days. Thank you!! Dad was a lucky man to have you all in his corner.
A very special thanks to the staff, nurses and doctors and NHH Palliative Care and Ed's House, for the incredible, compassionate care he received.
He will be interred at St Peter's Cemetery at a later date.
If desired, any donations can be made in Mikes' name to the Salvation Army or Ed's House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre.
'Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans'
LET IT BE.
Just learned today, of the sad passing of our old friend/real estate agent, Mike...terribly saddened to hear...we hadn't seen/heard from Mike for at least 10 years, but the memories we shared from time spent together in Cobourg, will forever be in our hearts. My hubby Adrian, a Guitarist, always so enjoyed sitting around the Fox, playing Beatles songs, enjoying a beer or 2, and talking about Guitars...he convinced Mike to buy a couple, the same as he had!! We will miss you dear guy, play on for the heavenly folk, and know how much your wit, your laughter, your kindness, your hugs, will be missed by us both...RIP dear Mike, and sincere condolences to all your family..play on Fox xxoo
Foxy will be missed by many friends and his family, that I am sure of. I haven’t seen Foxy for years but when I lived in Ontario Canada he was a good friend and a great real estate agent for me. I always remember Foxy singing Rocky Raccoon by the open campfires. My deepest sympathies to all who loved him. Rest peacefully Fox.

Known Foxy my whole life being his was close friends with my father Rocco Ugolini and acquaintances with my mother Lizzy Maclean. Fox was my neighbor at the building this past 1.5 years and I was delighted to have him there. Whether borrowing a coffee pod or a little spliff for an afternoon puff we saw each other daily and I thoroughly enjoyed cooking big meals and having Foxys 'to-go' Tupperwares packed several times a week for a good homemade meal for him to enjoy through the couple years he was here with us. Sandra also would extend her condolences to the family as she and Mike became close friends and Sandy often drove him to his appointments and having a beer or 6 during the summer. He will be missed by us both especially Sandy's grandson Malakai. Rest in Power Fox, until we meet again brother.
