Dearest Darcy, I am so very, very sorry for your loss. One thing I know for sure is that you were the best son ever and your Dad was extremely proud of you. Sending lots of love and prayers at this sad time. xo
Dear Darcy I knew your dad from years ago. I moved away and then came back. We ran into each other from time to time. I really got to know your dad again when I was driving taxi. He had the biggest heart and eyes when he showed me pictures of you and how extremely proud he was and is of you. He had a big heart and a laughter that went along with it. He was full of jokes and stories and of course pranks. He was a man of his word. He would be the first one to offer a hand. He would show up with a well thought out prank and his innocent smirk. You knew when Darren was around, your belly and jaws were in pain of laughter. He wore a permanent smile. Darcy, your dad will never be gone, because you are his son and he lives on in you. Keep your memories at heart and share then daily. His spirit is always by your side.
Condolences to Darren’s family. R.I.P Foz

Darren my friend to the end. My brotha from anotha motha...Can't believe you are gone. I was going to surprise you in July just showing up unannounced like I always used to do. We would have had a blast as we always did in the past. Carried on just like we were never apart. I'm going to try to get the old gang together this summer to remember you and talk about the million memories we all have of you. I recently heard of Darren's passing and, although it has been many years since our paths crossed at the East, I have many very fond memories of playing in different bands with him. He was an amazing showman and I still think of him every time AC/DC comes on the radio - in particular, You Shook Me All Night Long! I regret not reaching out when I had the opportunity. Until we meet again old friend. Bryn

I didn’t know Darren well but I know his son and for that, I will be forever grateful. From what I know of Darren, he was a jovial man who was quick to laugh. He lived life by trying to do right and have fun doing it. He will be sorely missed.

Darcy, Shocked and saddened to learn of your dad's passing. Your dad was one of the fellow tenants at 26 Spencer Street East until we all got evicted. Your dad would be out on the patio cooking up his pork chops on the Coleman stove and always offered anyone some of his feast. So sorry for your loss Darcy and treasure the memories and the laughter you shared with your dad and he'll never be far from you. Rest in peace Fozzie. Shirley Sandercock
