Peacefully at the Golden Plough Lodge on Thursday March 23rd , 2023 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late James Weekes. Loving mother of Deborah McFarland (Charlie), Janice Worden, Gary Long (Debbie) and Marie Long and step mother of Sherril Souch (Jim), Robert Weekes (Diane), Gerald Weekes (Gloria) and the later Bill Weekes. Lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Alice Roberts and pre-deceased by Bertha Kelly, Jean Miller, Walter, Art, Jack, Harold, Gerry and Pearl Matthews. At Marion’s request there will be no visiting or service, a private family graveside service will be held at Camborne Cemetery at a later date. If desired donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Dr. Xi and the staff of the Golden Plough for all their care and support.

My condolences to the Long and Weekes' families. I have many memories of my Aunt Marion and her sisters coming to visit my Mom (her sister Alice). May your many happy memories be with you at this sad time.
My condolences to all the Weekes' family on the loss of such a kind, caring and wonderful person. She was such a loving and supportive mother in law to me and grandmother to Steve and Paul and great grandmother to Sienna. She will be missed.

I remember when the Weeks/Long family moved into Harwood and thinking great we have more kid's for Road hockey. They soon fit in and all were welcomed at the farm house. After all what's a couple of more kids . Mrs. Weeks never seemed to mind. It wasn't until. 35 years latter that I became friends with Marion when she she came into Rona looking for help for one of the kids remodeling a kitchen or bathroom and was running around getting info to save them time. After that over the next 15/20 years we had many visits like that mostly her helping family or friends with one project or another and sometimes just to say hello. I will miss those Visits.
Condolences to the family. Marion was very much a part of my childhood. Living just up the road from the Robinsons in Harwood. Funny how our Moms passed away so close to one another. ("Mary Jones) Life is strange. Sorry for your loss.
